What we're dealing with here, is a mentality is basically in the dark ages. Burn the witch! Stone the heretic! The world is fucking flat and there be dragons and shit at the edges of the oceans.
The typical modern western mind has trouble imagining people so primitive in this day and age, yet here they are. Even the Neanderthals had more respect for the dead.

Do you think that might happen to you someday? It could. It could even happen here.
It has happened in the US in the past, even recently. The difference, is that it is frowned upon in the US these days.
Islam practices omerta when it comes to acts like this.
And it will happen again, society is degenerating into eventual chaos. Then on the spot "justice" to those who want to stop the downhill slide! Then "the man on horseback" will come to the "rescue"!
