I noticed THIS VIDEO groping around through Google videos randomly. I had no idea any ME-262's had survived in any sort of condition that would be restorable and ultimately flight worthy... Apparently at least one has.
I'm a big fan of aircraft and flying machines of any sort and have known people who took on vintage aircraft restorations. The job is a massive one. In the case of the ME-262 and its jet engines, it must have been even harder than usual.
