The Florida Marlins are for real baby

Florida Marlins(MLB)

This is it -- I'm officially declaring the Marlins to be the real deal. It looked shaky early in the season, but this is a whole different team, and they seem to be on a trajectory similar to that of the 2003 World Series winning team.

They're winning come from behind games.

The bullpen isn't collapsing as much as before.

A wildcard is not out of the question now -- and everyone KNOWS what happens if the Marlins get the wildcard. Every Marlin team that ever got into the playoffs has WON the whole deal, and every one of them got there via the wildcard.

Go Fish.

Monday Update: Fish are now only two games out of the Wildcard riding an 8 game winning streak.
