Scraping the bottom of the bad guy gene pool

Desert Flier
[...]"No casualties from the VBIED".

We all have this incredulous "what the....?" look on our faces. Turns out, the VBIED driver only managed to blow himself up. His incompetence has an end result of one death....his own. This is a first for me, and I'll take it as a sign that the insurgents are scraping the bottom of the bad guy gene pool at this point.

I guess I'll have to do the manual thing once in a while...

My daughter in Iraq: "We don't have power in our tent"

Your comment: "Iraq is a combat zone not a KOA campground. Maybe she needs to resign her commission if this sort of hardship is unacceptable."

For your information, my daughter has been officer in the U.S. Army for 11 years. She has been awarded 2 bronze stars and 7 distinguished service citations. She is anything but a KOA campground officer. I do not appreciate your snark, and I dare you to post comment, you fucking piece of shit.

So? Good for her, I appreciate the service.

My remark still stands. If lack of power in a tent is something significant to her, then she needs to reconsider her chosen profession. Millions lacked power in their tents in past wars.
